Last updated: 21 July 2026

This policy explains how Trade Safe Compliance collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website or contact us. Trade Safe Compliance is a trading name of Sirius International Holdings Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17103355 ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or through the enquiry form on this site, we collect the information you provide: typically your name, company name, phone number, email address and the details of the work you are asking about.

When you browse this site, limited technical information is processed as described under Cookies and Hosting below.

How we use it

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing lists you have not asked to join.

The enquiry form

The enquiry form is processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, which passes your submission to our inbox. Netlify retains form submissions on our account as part of providing that service. See Netlify's own privacy policy for how it handles data as a processor.

Cookies and advertising measurement

This site uses the Google tag (gtag.js) to measure how visitors reach the site and whether enquiries result from our Google advertising. This involves Google setting cookies and receiving technical information such as your IP address and the pages you visit. We use this solely to measure and improve our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site. Hosting infrastructure may involve transfers outside the UK; these are covered by appropriate safeguards under UK GDPR.

Who we share it with

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Client records, including documents we prepare for you, are kept for 6 years after the work ends, in line with limitation periods and our professional indemnity insurance requirements, then securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
